Bois Chamois achieves the rich color tones and character of the Baked Flooring by baking the wood at extreme temperatures which transforms the pale hues of the White Oak in to rich chocolate and blonde tones and breaking down the natural juices and acids which bleed throughout the entire boards resulting in a “One of a kind Flooring” that is truly unique in nature. The end result is similar in tones to Walnut and Wenge. The color hues are throughout, meaning that this material can be sanded multiple times and it will never lose its color and as the material has been treated with heat, it naturally hardens making a very dense and stable floor. The process of “Baking” the White Oak is unique, and environmentally-friendly.
